To be an inevitable reference in the production and commercialization of wines.
It is from the work of each person, whether in the vineyard, in the cellar, in the office or in the export markets, that our wines are born, giving consumers the opportunity to taste them, all over the world. The values we share are what bring us together and allows us to act with unity and consistency.
We foster an entrepreneurial culture and an open and curious mindset, constantly pursuing new solutions and value creation opportunities. With a spirit of anticipation and a permanent search for new opportunities, we are committed to innovative alternatives that make a difference in the wine industry.
We encourage a mindset that aims for continuously doing more and better, through individual responsibility and teamwork, striving for excellence and consistency. The commitment to qualified and highly competent professionals leads to the implementation of coherent solutions, based on the assumptions of quality, deadlines and value inherent to all Group companies.
We place people’s dignity at the centre of our decisions and contribute to the development of their skills, promoting autonomy and continuous learning. Investing in people makes everyday life a permanent challenge of learning and sharing knowledge.
We promote ethical and honest behaviour, building trustworthy and loyal relationships, treating everyone fairly and truthfully.
In addition to the production and marketing of wines, we develop other activities related to the forest, such as cork, raising and marketing cattle and fattening Alentejo black pigs, as well as producing honey.
For each cycle of 9 years, an average of around 6,5000 tons of cork is produced.
The forest areas are also used for grazing cattle on covered soil and fattening black pigs with acorns in mountain ranges.
Marketed under the Monte da Ravasqueira brand, it is a farm honey, produced in the Serra de Serpa, using rosemary flower as the base of its nectar.
Ravasquera extends over approximately 3000 hectares, of which 700 are cork oak forests, 1600 are mixed cork oak and holm oak forests, 80 are irrigated land, 120 are pine forests for pine cone production, 45 hectares are vineyards and 400 are agricultural areas, rainfed with arable crops and olive groves.
It is this ecosystem that lives, develops and balances around our vineyards, making this place a unique terroir for the production of great wines.
