Ravasqueira's new Chief Winemaker has been making his mark since his first steps into the world of wine. David Baverstock was born in the Barossa Valley, a famous Australian wine region, and his academic studies took place at the Rosewoethy Agricultural College. He arrived in Portugal in 1982, the country he fell in love with and had remained ever since. He has worked as a winemaker in some of the most renowned wine houses, such as the Symington Group, Quinta do Crasto and Esporão, where he has been responsible for winemaking up until this day.

"David Baverstock has the ideal profile to lead our winemaking division. This investment arises from the growth and expansion plan of Ravasqueira, which intends to further consolidate its operation and the already well-known brands by our clients, as well as to strengthen a new phase of growth".

David Baverstock said:
