Ravasqueira Heritage Red 2020 is a tribute wine that is only released in exceptional years. It is the epitome of the potential of our vineyard in tune with the know-how acquired over the years. This unique wine, fruit of the precision viticulture and enology that incessantly seeks the detailed manifestation of the terroir through clusters and vine stocks that, for many reasons, had a different behaviour, thus affecting its concentration and richness. The tasting of this wine demonstrates the result of the expression of a selection of micro-terroirs.

Dark red color, dense and opaque. Complex and intense nose with hints of final fermentation in barrel. Peat, cedar, light iodine, black olives, cocoa, and intense mixture of black and red fruit and dried figs. Spicy, with black pepper, thyme, and mineral extension. The tasting has trimmed tannins, thin and growing with concentration in the test medium, balsamic freshness, meat, plums, blackberries, and blueberries, with a strong, mineral finish. Can, and should, be decanted.
