Krohn 10 Years

10 Year Old Ports are old Tawnies of great complexity and with the typical aromas and flavors of wines matured in wood, especially notes of nuts and caramel.

Krohn 10 Years Old is produced from a selection of Port wines from the best vineyards in the Douro Valley. The wines are aged in wooden casks of approximately 630 liters capacity for an average of 10 years. These wooden casks hold a smaller volume of wine. As a result, the wine's contact with the wood is proportionally greater.  As the wine ages in the cask, it gradually loses the deep ruby red color of its youth and begins to acquire the lovely amber hue known in English as "tawny".

At the same time, the wine becomes progressively softer and more velvety, and its aromas acquire richness and complexity. 

You can order this product in boxes of 6 or by the unit, in which case an additional 1€ is added due to operational costs.
