A wine of great historical importance, produced with grapes from a single vineyard block of Sousão which in the 1961 marked the beginning of the production of quality Douro wines.

Intense ruby color. On the nose, aromas of ripe fruit in harmony with balsamic and woodland notes. Powerful wine on the palate with firm, enveloping tannins. Good acidity to enhance the depth of the whole. It has good characteristics for a long aging in bottle.
